The Steps 2018 Magnum

Blend of Merlot dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, this Steps cuvée from Château Puynard shows a beautiful dark color nuanced with purple reflections. An expressive and complex bouquet characterizes this 2018, combining red and black fruits with pleasant scents of flowers (violet, rose) extended by subtle vanilla notes. Dense on the palate, it is generous and greedy, heady, rich in tannins but with perfectly balanced power. It goes well with cooked or grilled meats, dishes in sauce, game and mature cheeses.
