Château Puynard Gîte
We were priviledged to host a Ukrainian family at the gîte during 2022, right after renovations. They left it pristine upon their return to Ukraine mid-December and it is open for bookings since. We now affectionately call it Iryna's Gîte at Château Puynard.
Originally used as accommodation for vineyard helpers, this intimate two bedroom gîte is set facing the sandy plateau of the property. We have sown barley on the plateau in January 2023 so it will have a very different but refreshing aspect to when it housed vines. Upstairs, there are two bright bedrooms - one double and one with three singles. Downstairs, we have a separate kitchen with a breakfast-style bar.
There is a generous shower and toilet room with a washing machine available too. The main area downstairs is an open plan dining and living room/tv area which also has a large fireplace with a modern stove set into it. This room opens out to the front of the gîte which has it’s own private garden and seating area, complete with a BBQ for the warmer months.
